The Executive at Chandler Farms

The Executive at Chandler Farms is one of the newest additions to Mid-Michigan Golf. Knowing that the course is managed by the staff and crew of Hawk Hollow you can be assured that the course will be looking its finest. Take note: The Executive is a dramatically different course than Hawk Hollow. Traditionally, an executive course is shorter than a traditional course. The term, (according to our sources) originated in the 1950's and was meant to attract business style meetings on the course. The goal was to play a shorter course and therefore take less time to complete. The executive is a shorter course by design but is not the typical executive course. With 5 par 4's and 4 par 3's you will be able to make it through the course in a decent time. The other difference that you will notice is that there is not a tree on the whole course. This makes the play very open. It also makes it difficult to get into deep trouble. There is a fair amount of water that not only adds to the challenge of the course, but adds to the overall look and feel. The most pleasant aspect of the course are the large well manicured greens. The grounds crew and architect should be congratulated on another job well done.

The pro shop, though minimal, has all that it needs to have: a friendly staff, golf balls, shirts, drinks, and snacks. The price: $13.00 for your first 9 and $11.00 for additional 9 holes. There are no riding carts at The Executive, but there are pull carts available for $2.50.
