Description
Hole 11, the shortest Par 4 at Oak Lane measuring just 295 yards, is the easiest hole at the course. This slight dogleg left has potential for hazard though with trees and a river lining the left hand side of the fairway and a pond on the right. As long as players are not overcome with greed and wanting to get as close the green as possible, making birdie on this hole should not be too difficult. The slight dogleg left makes this hole virtually impossible to reach in one for the long ball hitters. Two bunkers on the right hand side of the green can come into play and the trees on the left side of the green can also cause some trouble on the approach shots. The Green is midsize, relatively flat, and slightly uphill making putting pretty easy (if there is such a thing). The key to this hole is a well placed drive that will leave an easy approach shot and possibly an easy birdie. |
